Grit bin update
The grit bin collection is gong well with about half of the estate contributing so far. I know there will be people are on holiday and everyone has a million things to do over the school holidays but if you haven't already donated please do so as soon as you can. I am trying to avoid having to knock on too may doors at the start of September. I know snow and ice are the last thing on your mind in August but if you were here last year (and the beginning of this year) you will have seen how difficult it was to drive in and out of the estate. Thanks Abby.

i thought youd got a grant for a bin ? you posted on here ?
ReplyDeleteWe were awarded £200 by the Parish Council but the estimated cost of the bin and grit is £327. So I’m asking residents on the estate to contribute to the shortfall. You can see the application at

or just search on ‘grit bin’ in the word cloud.
